The CBI is now conducting extensive nationwide searches and has visited the NTA headquarters as part of its intensified investigation to restore integrity to the crucial examination system.

tribuneindia.com reports: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested five individuals in connection with alleged irregularities and a paper leak related to the NEET UG-2026 examination.
The national medical entrance exam, initially held on May 3, was subsequently canceled on May 12 amid widespread allegations of a paper leak.
As reported by the Press Trust of India (PTI), the CBI is conducting extensive searches across the country as part of its intensified investigation into the NEET UG paper leak case.
The Tribune noted that the CBI also visited the National Testing Agency (NTA) headquarters to collect documents and speak with officials involved in the examination process.
These arrests are part of a broader investigation by the CBI aimed at addressing the alleged irregularities and upholding the integrity of the national medical entrance examination system.
