Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill suffered a season-ending knee injury during the September 29, 2025, game against the New York Jets, Yahoo Sports and other outlets reported the following day. [1, 2, 9] During the third quarter, Hill's left leg was injured on a tackle after a reception, and he was carted off the field. [2, 5] Dolphins Coach Mike McDaniel later confirmed Hill had a dislocated kneecap. [1, 4] Subsequent reports on September 30 stated the injury also involved multiple torn ligaments, including the ACL, which would require surgery. [3, 6, 8]
Following the injury, Hill was transported to a local hospital for evaluation and remained there overnight. [1, 3] On September 30, Hill posted a video on social media thanking fans for their support before undergoing surgery. [10] His agent, Drew Rosenhaus, later announced that the surgery went well, there were no plans for retirement, and the goal is for Hill to be ready for the start of the 2026 season.
